Antalya Airport is located east of the city. It’s the third busiest airport in Turkey, mainly due to the large number of tourists celebrating their summer holiday in the south of Turkey. The airport has three terminals: Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 for international flights and Terminal 3 (Domestic) for domestic traffic. Terminal 1 is connected to Domestic Terminal, but 2.5 kilometres apart from Terminal 2. You can take bus number 600 or the taxi to commute between the terminals. Antalya Airport is easily accessible via the D400, this road connects the airport with the cities of Antalya, Side and Alanya.

The centre of Antalya is 15 kilometres away from the airport, the journey time between the two places is 25 minutes.

Public transport – Bus (Antalya) Bus number 600 runs between Antalya Airport and Antalya Bus Terminal (Otogar), which is the main bus station of Antalya located 5 kilometres north of downtown Antalya. The bus departs in front of Terminal 2, Terminal 1 and Domestic Terminal. To get to the centre of Antalya, please get off at the bus stop ‘Yener Ulusoy’ instead of remaining seated until the last bus stop ‘Otogar’. From the bus stop ‘Yener Ulusoy’ you can walk or taxe a taxi to the centre of Antalya, the distance is 1.5 kilometres. Public transport – Tram (Antalya)
Tram line AntRay was extended for the international horticultural exposition Expo 2016 Antalya, as a result Antalya Airport is now accessible by tram. There are two tram lines in Antalya, a nostalgic tram (Heritage Tram) from Müzesi to Zerdalilik and a modern tram (AntRay Light Rail) from Fatih to Expo. Antalya Airport has two stations where you can enter and exit the tram: Domestic Terminal (iç Hatlar, T3) and International Terminal (dış Hatlar, T1). Travel time to the most central tram stop in Antalya (İsmet Paşa) is around 40 minutes. Trams run every 10 to 20 minutes in both directions, between 06:00 a.m. and 23:30 p.m.. Tickets for public transport in Antalya:
You can buy tickets for 2.00 TL per ride. For some routes you pay double the price, because of the greater distance. It means a bus journey or tram ride from Antalya Airport to Antalya costs 4.00 TL per person. If you plan to make more use of public transport you can save some money by buying an Antalya Kart for 5.00 TL and charge it with Turkish lira. If you are in possession of an Antalya Kart (A-Kart), a rechargeable transit card for public transport in Antalya, the price for a single ticket is 1.80 TL or 3.60 TL (airport – city).
